TWO IMPORTANT NOTIFICATIONS FOR THE CLASS of 2024
FHS Community Scholarship Application is now open for Seniors!
Application Deadline: 02/26/2024
We are delighted to announce that the application for community scholarships is now available to the graduating class of 2024. These scholarship opportunities are made available through the generosity of many organizations and individuals. The purpose of these scholarships is to help deserving students meet the cost of preparing for their futures.
The Community Scholarship Application is required for any scholarship given through Farmingdale High School’s Senior Awards Presentation. There are scholarships available for students who plan to enter the military, attend technical schools, two-year colleges and four-year colleges and universities. Some scholarships are distributed based on grades, others on personal characteristics, extra-curricular activities or community service.
There are many scholarships available. In addition, there are some scholarships which require student essays. A description of those scholarships is included in the Scholarship Google form.
Seniors desiring to apply for these scholarships must complete the Google Form by February 26, 2024. Please note that the authorization to share your information must be completed as part of the application process.
