Food Services
The Food Services Department monitors the nutritional content and quality of the food being served in each of our seven kitchens and develops the breakfast and lunch menus for the district. Food Services is also responsible for compliance with all Health Department regulations and the integrity of the kitchen equipment.
We are pleased to inform you that Farmingdale UFSD will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision, available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs for 2024-2025.
What does this mean for your child(ren) attending Farmingdale UFSD?
All students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024-2025 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

Kids and teens ages 18 and under can get free, healthy meals at nearby places like parks, community centers and libraries. Meals vary, but all include healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, grains and protein. Many sites offer fun activities, too. There is no need to sign up. Just show up!
