This weekend the Varsity Cheerleading team competed against the best in the nation at the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
The team competed in two divisions. They finished as Small Varsity DI semi-finalists (this was the largest team in the division with 110 teams total). They made it to finals for the first time as a program in the Medium Varsity Game Day DI division as 11th in the nation. This is a tremendous accomplishment for these young athletes, with ten freshmen this year, and this only being the program's 3rd time competing at the national level.
